Liturgy Committee

The Liturgy Committee sponsors the following programs:

ALTAR SOCIETY: Cares for the sacristy, sanctuary and church building, including altar cloths, candles, flowers, plants, holy water fonts and vestments. Contacts: Cloie Belgeri, (314) 351-2925 and Margaret Simpson, (314) 647-1391.

CHURCH CLEANERS: Volunteers who make the Church "clean and shiny" for those special Holy Days. Contact: Cathy Crowe, (314) 351-8187.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION: Offering Our Lord in the consecrated bread and wine to others is a holy privilege for any adult. If you have felt the call to this ministry, contact Karen Scheve at (314) 752-9343.

GREETERS: Can you smile and say "Good Morning" before Mass on Sunday morning? If you would like to volunteer, contact Rectory, (314) 832-2838.

LECTORS: Lectors proclaim God's Word within the liturgy with enthusiasm and clarity. Contact: Colleen Bridges, (314) 645-3827.

LITURGY OF THE WORD FOR CHILDREN: Children K-3 grade leave the assembly to hear the Sunday readings at their level during 9:30 a.m. Mass. Volunteers always needed to teach. Contact: Julie Sztukowski (314) 781-4433.

MASS SERVERS: For boys and girls fifth grade and older who are interested in assisting the celebrant in Mass, including weddings and funerals.

MUSIC MINISTRY: Anyone who likes to sing and wants to meet others in our parish community is welcome. Contact: Ron Schield (314) 503-1211.

USHERS: welcome parishioners to Sunday Liturgy by greeting and seating them and collecting weekly donations. Contact: Sam Passafiume (314) 645-4540.
