How the Scrip Program Can Work for You!
Scrip gift cards can be used at over 100 major retailers and
entertainment venues, including restaurants and gas stations.
Purchasing any of these scrip gift cards contributes toward your
school year contribution. For example, two major grocery stores (Dierbergs
and Shop N’ Save) accept Scrips for purchases of groceries and
prescriptions. J.C. Penny and Kohl’s stores accept Scrips to pay on
your credit card account.
You can ask your family members and friends to help. They buy
groceries, gas and go out to eat. Ask them to buy Scrips at SJA and
credit your account. They help you; they help support our school and
may become involved in our parish.
Do you have elderly neighbors that would like to help support
your children and their school? Do they meet friends at Starbucks or
St. Louis Bread Co for coffee? Do they need a prescription from
Walgreen’s? When buying gift cards for yourself, encourage your
neighbor to buy them too; be a good neighbor and pick up their cards
for them.
Do you travel for work? Ever consider buying scrip gift cards to
hotels, restaurants, gas stations, or airline tickets before you go?
You can purchase airline tickets online, key in numbers off of the
gift cards and you’re done. Travel a couple times a year; you will
have met your yearly contribution goal.
Do you have plans to renovate a bathroom, basement or landscape
this year? We stock Best Buy, Home Depot and Lowe’s gift cards for
all your home improvement needs. Buying flowers for the yard, we
have just the gift card in stock for you! .
Having Mother’s Day, a Graduation Party, or a Memorial Day
Barbeque? Don’t forget to pick up your Dierberg’s, Shop N Save or
LeGrand’s gift cards once your grocery list is made and your menu is
set.
When you spend $50 or more, your name goes into the monthly
raffle and you will have the opportunity to choose a $25 gift card
equaling a 5% or less discount.
There are many ways to reach your participation requirements. Ask
your family, friends and neighbors to support St. Joan of Arc. This
program requires nothing but your participation!
