Scrip Program

What Is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you are purchasing a negotiable gift, certificates and prepaid cards that are used like cash.
Scrip cards can be used to purchase products or services from grocery stores, gas stations and over 100 major retailers. For additional information click on
Scrip Program 2011-2012.
How scrip generates revenue for St. Joan of Arc:
Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. Our organization buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value. The discount - from 2% to 15% percent or more – is our organization’s revenue.
We have implemented mandatory participation in the Scrip program for families of children attending St. Joan of Arc school.
Scrip is "shopping cart fundraising:
Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families do not have to sell anything. Organization members produce revenues.
Three Easy Ways to place your order:
1. Pick-up in-stock gift cards in the back of church after weekend masses.
2. Pick-up in-stock gift cards at the Rectory during office hours.
3. Send completed Scrip Order Form to school with your child.
Within a few days, in-stock gift cards are sent home with your child.
*** Special Order gift cards can be placed via the Scrip Order Form through any of the above three options. Special Orders placed by 12:30pm on Sunday will be ready by Thursday.

When you spend $50 or more, your name goes into the monthly raffle for an opportunity to win a $25 gift card of your choice (with a 5% or less discount).
