With the first graduating class in 1951, St. Joan of Arc School boasts 2,983 alumni.

Officially, the school under the name of the parish St. Joan of Arc, closed at the end of the 2016-2017 school year. However, it reopened for the 2017-2018 school year at the same location on the corner of Pernod and Hampton Avenues as South City Catholic Academy. Administration is under the Archdiocese of St. Louis and combines with the closed school of Our Lady of Sorrows and others in the neighborhood. All new staff was hired but does include some teachers from both St. Joan of Arc and Our Lady of Sorrows former schools.

homecoming
Each year since 1973, St Joan of Arc has held a Homecoming. It is now always held the weekend after Labor Day. Our 2023 Homecoming was on September 9/10, 2023, the 50th Homecoming and our 14th year for an Alumni Booth in the air conditioned gym!
Stop by our booth, update you contact information, and get a free drink coupon! Hope to see you there!
Several classes have had their reunions at the Homecoming, with homecoming food and entertainment choices built right in! Remember Homecoming if you are planning your class reunion! Contact us for a list of your class!
