Parish Library

Mary (the sister of Martha) sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.  (Luke 10:39)

When you pursue faith development through spiritual reading and study, you too “sit at the feet of Jesus.”

The St. Joan of Arc Parish Library supports our parish’s commitment to faith development by lending books and other media that educate, inspire, and challenge Catholics of all ages in matters of faith. The library’s primary, but not exclusive, focus is on Catholic materials directed to the adult layperson, but we offer titles for children and teens as well. Resources cover topics such as prayer, spirituality, the saints, scripture, grief, social justice, marriage and family life, catechetics and apologetics, the sacraments and more.

The library is located off the East vestibule of church, and is open whenever the church building is, or by asking at the rectory. The library operates on a self-serve basis so anyone who finds it can use it.  Whether you want to browse our collection, borrow an item, or donate a book, come check us out!

We welcome volunteers to help with the library. For this or for other information, please contact the Parish Office, 314-832-2838.
